The concept behind the album artwork was to symbolize the band's longevity and the idea of pollination, which represents the cross-pollination of ideas and influences throughout Blondie's career. The cover art was designed by Shepard Fairey, a renowned artist and graphic designer known for his work on projects such as the iconic Obama "Hope" poster.
